Prepararing for your tattoo

*We recommend the following:

​

  • Avoid consuming alcohol the night before.

​

  • Stay hydrated.

​

  • Limit your caffeine intake, so you're not shakey. 

​

  • Eat a good meal.

​

  • If you're getting large tattoo, please shave the area.

​

  • Do not apply moisturizer on the day of your appointment.

​

  • Do not applying tanner leading up to your appointment.

Healing Process

What to bring / NOT to bring to your appointment:

*Aftercare: 

 

  • Keep the plastic wrap (Saniderm) on for 4 days. 

​

  • Gently remove in the shower and cleanse with antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean towel (paper towels work well).

​

  • For the next 2 weeks, moisturize at least 2x per day Cetaphil. You can moisturize further if you'd like.

​

  • Do not submerge your tattoo in water (no beach or pool) - showers are fine.

​

  • Limit direct exposure to the sun for 15-20 days.

​

  • Afterward, when you go the beach or pool, use sunscreen at least every 2 hours. â€‹

​

  • We have a small space so please limit your company to 1 guest. â€‹

​

  • We have snacks on site!

​

  • No minors (under 18) are allowed on the premises. 

Special Instructions

  • If the Sandiderm wrap is causing itchiness and feels irritated and red around the edges, you may have an allergic to the product.

  • In this case, gently please remove the wrap in the shower and care for your tattoo by cleansing with antibacterial soap 2x/day, and moisturizing 2x/day for about 4 days. 

  • Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns following your appointment.

  • A reminder that fine line tattoos often require touch ups. The thinner the line, your type of skin, and/or the placement of your tattoo may contribute to your possible need for a touch up. A single letter or something tiny may be complimentary. The retouching of an entire tattoo does not require a deposit and is usually $50.
